The qualification of people mastered in Aeronautics Engineering allows to long for job positions characterised by full autonomy and responsibility in fields like: space and aircraft industries, public and private companies specialised in aerospace design, production and testing, airlines, air traffic management authorities, military air forces, aeronautics department of other armies and companies for the design and production of devices for which aerodynamics and lightweight structures are relevant design topics. The wide and deep qualification allows to work not only in aeronautics companies but also when advanced methods and technologies are applied.

This Course is organized for a full time attendance and involves classroom and laboratory activities. The attendance is strongly recommended but not mandatory. A final graduation work must be prepared (project, theoretical or experimental thesis).

The degree is awarded on the basis of 120 credits, as specified in the course regulations. The teaching activities are related to: courses mainly focused on the completion of the aeronautic scientific knowledge (aerodynamics, flight mechanics, systems, structures and numerical methods) 40 credits; 67,5 credits for specific courses; for other activities and final work 12,5 credits are allocated. Four curricula are present: aerodynamics, avionics and systems, structures and propulsion. The full description can be found in the Course Regulation.
